For just $30 per person, join us in supporting Roy on his inspiring journey around Singapore.

Roy is our dedicated Facilities Management Officer who aims to raise awareness and gather much-needed funds for our bursary fund by traversing all 13 of our DAS Learning Centres.

‘Step Up’ is more than a 24-hour challenge; it’s a mission to make education accessible for everyone! The bursary fund ensures financial barriers do not prevent anyone from receiving the education they deserve. Every step Roy takes is a step toward opportunity, inclusion, and empowerment.

EMBRACE DYSLEXIA is a movement launched by DASin 2014 to debunk common misconceptions about dyslexia, encouraging people with dyslexia to embrace their learning differences and to call organisations to take greater action in supporting the dyslexia communities around the world! Dyslexia Awareness Week 2024

The British Dyslexia Association (BDA) is committed to raising awareness of dyslexia and challenging misconceptions as part of its goal to create a dyslexia-friendly society. Dyslexia Awareness Week 2024, running from 7–13 October, embraces the theme “What’s Your Story?” with three key messages: recognizing the diversity of dyslexic experiences with over 6.7 million unique stories in the UK, emphasizing the importance of early identification and intervention, and promoting the idea that it’s never too late to seek BDA support to change one’s story.

Dyslexia Awareness Month 2024

Mark it Read is the official Canadian celebration for Dyslexia Awareness Month. October 1st, 2024 marks the start of our 7th annual national awareness-raising campaign. Each year across Canada, monuments and buildings are lit up red, schools and workplaces wear red, and cities and towns sign proclamations to officially declare the month of October as Dyslexia Awareness Month. Mark it Read has also been listed on the Government of Canada website as a health promotion month.  The theme for Mark it Read 2024 is Breaking the Silence

DYSLEXIA SCOTLAND
Dyslexia Awareness Week 2024: 30 September – 6 October 2024

This year, we launch the findings of our survey of dyslexic people aged over 16 in Scotland, which will feed into our next strategic plan. The survey will be launched in the Scottish Parliament on 2 October and key findings and recommendations will be shared after the launch event. We have a great range of events for all ages and interests and as usual we’ll be sending out Ellie’s Blue Dyslexia Ribbons for people to wear to show their support during the week.
