Mr Kevin Kwek was appointed as director of DAS Ltd on 26 April 2021, Vice-Chairman on 24 September 2022 and Chairman on 19 September 2026. He joined the Dyslexia Association of Singapore (DAS) as an Executive Committee Member in January 2013. He is the founding director of Legal Solutions LLC, a local law firm. He graduated from the University of Keele, England, in 1993 with a Second Class (Upper) Honours Degree in Law and Economics.

Mr Kevin was called to the Singapore Bar in 1995. He was previously working with Drew & Napier, Shook Lin & Bok and Kenneth Tan Partnership (where he was made partner in 1999) prior to setting up Legal Solutions LLC in 2005 where he is currently a Director.

Mr Kwek chairs the Programmes and Services Committee is the Joint Chair of the Special Projects Committee. He is also a member of the Fundraising, Finance and Nominations Sub Committees.

Mr Dickon Addis joined the Dyslexia Association of Singapore (DAS) as an Audit and Risk Committee Member in September 2020. He was appointed as Vice-Chairman on 19 September 2026. Mr Addis is now a full member of the DAS Board of Directors and he currently chairs the Audit & Risk Committee and the Child Safety Committee. He has spent the last 14 years as the Group Finance Director of an Asian focused shipping agency and previously had Finance & Accounting roles in both industry and consulting.

Mr Addis holds a Bachelor of Social Science from the London School of Economics, University of London and a Master of Business Administration from INSEAD. He is an Associate of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England & Wales.

Mr Kaka Singh is the Senior Partner and Chairman of RSM Chio Lim LLP. Having been in international accounting, Mr Singh has a wealth of experience and his work includes consultancy relating to accounting and auditing matters including those for the charity sector. He has extensive experience in IPO assignments, company secretarial matters, corporate governance issues, training and staff development. Before joining RSM Chi Lim LLP in 2000, Mr Singh was a senior partner at a Big 4 firm.

He is a regular speaker at conferences & seminars and has held many key positions in various accounting bodies. In 2010, Kaka was awarded the inaugural ACCA Award in recognition of his tireless dedication and contribution to the accounting profession; he was awarded the Silver Medal of the ISCA.

In 2022, Kaka received the esteemed Public Service Medal, Pingat Bakti Masyarakat (PBM), bestowed upon him by the President of the Republic of Singapore, recognizing his remarkable dedication to charities.

Mr Kaka Singh chairs the Jimmy and Roshen Daruwalla Fund (JRDF) Committee and is also a member of the Finance & Investment, and Human Resources Committee.

Mr Vincent Chen was one of the first DAS Executive Committee Members and played a leading role in the drafting of the original DAS Constitution. He is currently our Honorary Treasurer, and chairs the Finance and Investment committee. He is also a member of the Building Committee, the Nomination Committee and Jimmy and Roshen Daruwalla Fund (JRDF). Mr Chen is also active in several other voluntary welfare organisations including Kwong Wai Shiu Hospital and Rainbow Centre.

Mr Chen spent 17 years in the banking industry with First National Bank of Chicago, Bank of America and Banque Francaise du Commerce Exterieur. Subsequently, in 1988 he co-founded a financial consulting firm, Sidi, Chen & Associates. Since 1993, he has been managing his personal and family investments. In recent years Mr Chen has served as an independent director for a number of Singapore public listed companies.

Mr Chen holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Industrial Engineering from Cornell University and a Master of Business Administration from the Wharton School, University of Pennsylvania.

Mr Jim Lee joined the Dyslexia Association of Singapore as an Executive Committee Member in September 2018. He is a member of the Audit and Risk Committee, Human Resources Committee, Nomination Committee and Child Safety Committee. Mr Lee also advises the DAS on how to incorporate technology to increase effectiveness and efficiency.

Mr Lee has a background in management consulting and technology. As a Manager at A.T. Kearney, he led projects to transform both Fortune 500 multinational companies and government organizations. He also has experience working at Chevron and Google where he led projects to develop and execute IT strategies.

Mr Lee holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering and Computer Sciences from the University of California at Berkeley as well as a Master of Business Administration from the Stern School of Business of New York University.

Ms Alicia Tan was driven to volunteer as her daughter benefited from DAS programmes and has since graduated. She contributed a chapter to and shared her experience in the book Narratives From Mothers of Children with Dyslexia by Dr Shawn Anthony Robinson. Ms Tan is the joint-chair of the DAS Fundraising Committee, a member of the Audit & Risk Committee, the Child Safety Committee and the Jimmy and Roshen Daruwalla Fund (JRDF) Committee.

Alicia is a company director in the oil and gas industry. She has over 20 years of experience in business development, public relations, events, publishing, advertising and sponsorship marketing, working in and with organisations like Keppel, Prima Group, Singapore Tourism Board, Singapore Airlines and United Overseas Bank.

She believes in giving back and serves in church, school, sports and grassroots.

Ay Wen is the Chair of the Building Committee, and the joint-chair of the Fundraising Committee. She is also a member of the Finance & Investment Committee, and the Child Safety Committee.

Ay Wen has a child with dyslexia, therefore she is keen to help other parents and children coping with Dyslexia (or other learning difficulties) get access to the support DAS offers.

As M&A Partner at PricewaterhouseCoopers Advisory Services, she advises clients on strategic solutions and turnaround and has led complex integrations, divestments and restructuring programs. Her clients vary from startups to global multinational companies, Private Equity and Sovereign Wealth Funds. Before moving to Singapore, Ay Wen lived in the Netherlands and worked at PwC Netherlands as a Strategy and Operations consultant.

Ay Wen holds a Master's Degree in Business Administration from the University of Groningen in the Netherlands and followed the Advanced Program in International Management at the Copenhagen Business School in Denmark.

Richard is the chair of the Programmes and Services committee. He also serves as a member in the Building Committee, Finance & Investment Committee, and the Human Resources Committee.

Richard is a social impact advocate. He is passionate about community work in pursuit of achieving financial inclusiveness, youth empowerment, and quality education. He currently advises impact businesses with their business strategy, revenue model, and financial planning. He also helps corporations in defining their Sustainability policy as well as helping them identify ways to implement this policy. At the same time, he also serves with non-profits, NGOs, and charities advising on operational efficiency, donor engagement, fundraising, and stewardship.

Richard is a seasoned banking and investment professional with over 25 years of international experience. He held senior managerial responsibilities at various institutions. Most recently, he was Chief Executive Officer of an alternative asset manager where he oversaw risk, operations, regulatory, and technology matters to ensure the fund management company ran smoothly, efficiently, and in compliance. He was also the face of the firm to regulators, investors, and service providers.

He served as a core member of the firm Philanthropy Committee; and, currently gives his time to mentor university students and young entrepreneurs. He also participates as a business coach and mentors in the venture circle to assist businesses that are financially minded and socially conscious.

Richard is a Doctor of Business Administration from the City University of Hong Kong where his thesis was grounded theory on the social impact landscape in Hong Kong. The thesis was later featured and published in a Science Citation Index (SCI) journal. He was a Beta Gamma Sigma from New York University, Stern School of Business where he studied finance in his MBA program.
