Violet joined the Dyslexia Association of Singapore (DAS) in 2023. She provides intervention for learners with dyslexia and other specific learning differences in the Chinese programme. Violet has more than 10 years of Chinese teaching experience in both international schools in Singapore and public schools in China.
Before she joined DAS, she worked as a Language Acquisition Chinese Teacher & Chinese Literacy Support for Singapore Canadian International School. Violet aims to help students achieve their goals by creating an inclusive and encouraging learning environment full of interaction and positive energy. She graduated with a Master’s Degree in Teaching Chinese to Speakers of Other Languages from Ji Nan University.
