Kah Hui has been with the Dyslexia Association of Singapore (DAS) since 2016. She provides intervention for learners with dyslexia and other specific learning differences on the Main Literacy Programme (MLP). She also partners with parents to help their child boost their self-esteem and provide necessary resources to help them in parenting children with dyslexia or behavioural difficulties. She hopes to equip herself with relevant strategies to target her learners’ difficulties more effectively. She guides her learners to overcome their learning difficulties and trains them to become independent individuals.
Additionally, Kah Hui helps to conduct profiling tests and assesses new learners’ abilities to ensure that they are placed into suitable classes accordingly. She is a member of the Register of Educational Therapists (Asia).
