Stephanie works as an Educational Therapist, providing intervention for students who learn differently at Tampines Learning Centre.
She began her journey with the Dyslexia Association of Singapore (DAS) in 2012, serving as an Educational Therapist, a dual specialist in Mathematics, and a resource representative at Tampines Learning Centre until 2015. After taking a break due to family commitments, she rejoined the organisation in 2024 to pursue her passion for supporting children. Currently, she offers intervention for students with dyslexia and co-occurring conditions such as ADHD through the Main Literacy Programme and the iReach programme.
Her first experience working with students with special learning needs was in 2009 as an allied educator at a mainstream elementary school. Witnessing their struggles and frustration deeply moved her, sparking a strong desire to learn more about specific learning difficulties like dyslexia, ADHD, and dyscalculia. This passion led her on a journey of continuous learning and self-improvement, with the goal of making a meaningful impact on the lives of children with learning challenges.
