Shilpa Madane has been working as a Senior Specialist Teacher with DAS International since 2013. With a degree in Statistics and Law, Shilpa is trained in the Orton-Gillingham Approach for Dyslexia and holds a Double Diploma in Teaching Students with Dyslexia by Cambridge University. Her scope of work includes supporting students from MOE schools, and international schools with multiple learning difficulties, including dyslexia, dyscalculia, and ADHD. She specializes in developing literacy and mathematics skills for multi-lingual students of various nationalities, both in person as well as virtually.
In addition to supporting her students, Shilpa works as an adjunct lecturer with DAS Academy and lectures in math certificate courses designed for parents, caregivers and teachers of SpLD learners. She has been a panellist on multiple webinars about topics relating to dyslexia.
Shilpa is passionate about working with weak learners, with or without diagnosis, and believes in building a strong rapport with her students to help them achieve their potential.
