Nur Alia is a Senior Educational Therapist with DAS. She teaches students with Dyslexia in both the Main Literacy Programme (MLP) and the Essential Math Programme. Besides her passion for teaching students with learning difficulties, Nur Alia’s interest is in curriculum development. She is in the English Language and Literacy Department (ELL)’s curriculum team. As a Curriculum Developer, she is part of a dedicated team focusing on the curriculum for the Main Literacy Programme (MLP) and the iReaCH programme. She is a Fellow with the Register of Educational Therapists (Asia) and a qualified trainer with a WSQ Advanced Certificate in Training and Assessment (ACTA). She furthered her studies to learn more about special education and thus has a Master of Education (Special Education) from the Nanyang Technological University/National Institute of Education (NTU-NIE).
