Maan has been with the Dyslexia Association of Singapore since 2006. During this period, she has not only had the opportunity to teach children with dyslexia but also conduct psychological assessments. Maan’s first degree is in psychology and she was a graduate member of the British Psychological Association (BPS). As a result of her experience, she has an informed understanding of the student demography of DAS.
Maan has an immediate goal related to the success of her students and it is important to her that she widen her teaching scope. Hence she is a dual specialist in the DAS Main Literary Programme (MLP) as well as the Preparation for English Paper 2 (PREP 2 PSLE) programme to cater to her students’ needs.
