Jia Hui joined the DAS in 2021 as an Educational Therapist. She graduated from the National University of Singapore (NUS) with a degree in Psychology (Honours). She provides intervention for children with dyslexia, as well as other specific learning differences such as Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD) and speech impairment through the DAS Main Literacy Programme (MLP).
Currently, Jia Hui is also a Curriculum Developer with the English Language and Literacy Division (ELL), helping to develop materials to increase teacher and student success. She is the Programme Manager of the iStudySmart/iWorkSmart programme, conducting executive function workshops for older learners and helping them strengthen skills such as attention, planning and self-regulation. She believes that these skills are essential for leading healthy, productive academic and personal lives.
