Evelyn brings with her the love of Maths and working with young children to Dyslexia Association of Singapore (DAS) this year (2025).
She graduated from the National University of Singapore with a Bachelor of Science, majoring in Mathematics, and completed the double Maths programme with the intention of pursuing a career in teaching through NIE. Though that did not eventually happen, Evelyn did become a mother and teacher to her own children with learning difficulties, which deepened her understanding and empathy for learners who face unique challenges. This personal journey inspired her further and eventually led her to undergo training with the DAS.
Today, Evelyn is living out her dream of sharing the beauty of mathematics in the classroom as an Educational Therapist with DAS. She is passionate about making math interesting and meaningful, and is especially committed to supporting students who learn differently.
