The Dyslexia Association of Singapore (DAS), established in 1991, supports individuals with dyslexia and related learning differences through assessments, specialized learning programs, and training for parents and educators. Early signs in preschoolers include difficulties with reading, spelling, recognizing letters, remembering lessons, and speech delays. Early identification is crucial, as shown by the success story of “Tina,” who improved significantly after joining the DAS preschool program. DAS promotes early intervention through initiatives like its annual Preschool Seminar, which will be held on March 17–18, 2025, at the Lifelong Learning Institute. The seminar will feature experts from KKH, AWWA, NTUC First Campus, and DAS, offering practical insights on supporting young learners.
