For example, the first auction item is valued at $7,000; a tax deduction does not apply for the first $7,000. Only the amount exceeding $7,000 qualifies for the tax deduction. Therefore, if the winning bid is $8,000, then a tax deduction applies to $1,000 only.

About Selina, 13, DAS Sengkang Learning Centre
Selina’s artistic journey began at the age of three, when her parents introduced her to drawing and painting as an alternative form of communication during speech rehabilitation at KK Hospital. This early exposure nurtured a lifelong passion for doodling and creative expression.
Passionate about acrylic painting and handicrafts, Selina enjoys exploring different artistic techniques. Her latest artwork features a unique technique that uses leaf stamping to tell a powerful story.
Selina is deeply honoured to contribute her artwork to the DAS 35th Anniversary Charity Golf & Dinner event. Through her art, she hopes to inspire others and raise awareness about the strengths and potential of individuals with dyslexia.
