Taarini, a 14-year-old student with a passion for singing, has faced her share of challenges in her studies. Like many individuals with dyslexia, she struggled when traditional learning methods did not come easily to her. At first, she doubted whether she was learning the ‘right’ way, but with the support she received, Taarini came to realise that her path was simply different.
From A Hobby to A Source of Motivation
Singing has played a pivotal role in Taarini’s journey, both as an outlet for creativity, and as a source of personal empowerment. Through music, she learned to embrace her unique learning style, which helped her feel more confident in her strengths. She realised that while her dyslexia does not define her, it has shaped her into a person who finds new ways to learn and express herself.
As Taarini prepares for her upcoming performance, she feels a mixture of excitement and nervousness. The stage is where she can share the fruits of her hard work, and she is eager to showcase her talent. But beyond the performance itself, she also looks forward to meeting new friends and experiencing the support of her teachers. Taarini hopes her performance will be a testament to the hard work and determination she has put into honing her vocal skills.
More Than A Singer
In her free time, Taarini enjoys reading, catching up on sleep, and experimenting with makeup. These hobbies, along with her dedication to her singing, reflect her well-rounded personality and the vibrant confidence she continues to cultivate. Looking ahead, Taarini aspires to become a psychologist, a profession where she can help others.
Through singing, Taarini has learned that learning differently is a strength. Her story is a beautiful example of how embracing one’s unique journey can lead to self-discovery, confidence, and the courage to pursue dreams.
