Our theme ‘Beautifully Different’ is all about embracing who you are so we want you to embrace the unique person that YOU ARE through your artwork! Whether it is colour pencils, charcoal, paper art, paints, do what works for you and tell us what’s your work is all about. Let everyone appreciate your artwork directly from your POV! Start Today! SUPER JUNIOR CATEGORY: COLOURING

Eligibility:

Aged 5 to 9 years old
Open to all das/DAI Students (enrolled/waitlist/past students)

Participants can use any type of colouring medium such as colour pencils, water colours, oil/soft pastels, markers. Using more than one type of medium is allowed. Only hardcopy submission is accepted.
Templates must be printed on A3 size paper or collected at Bishan / Parkway / Jurong Point Learning Centres only.

Artists may also copy out the template on their own onto their drawing paper by following the video below (no extra points awarded for this). *Artists can add their own creative drawings and colorings into the template to suit the theme “Nature”. No write-up required for this category.

JUNIOR CATEGORY:
ORIGINAL ART NATURE AND/OR ANIMALS

Eligibility:

Aged 10 to 13 years old
Open to all das/DAI Students (enrolled/waitlist/past students)

Original Piece of any medium (min. size A3 size for dry medium and 14”x 18” for wet medium)

The theme “Beautifully Different” is open to artist’s own interpretation.

The judges will deliberate based on the final art piece and how each piece is being explained by the artists on how their piece is different through a few short sentences that can be written at the back of your canvas/drawing block.

You may use your own A3 size paper for dry medium or collect it at Bishan / Parkway/ Jurong Point Learning Centres only. Limited to 2 pieces per student. This will be available from 5 September 2023 onwards during opening hours. Canvas for wet painting will need to be purchased by the artist.
