Student Graduation and Awards is one of the most loved and meaningful events in the DAS yearly calendar.  This is the day that we all come together to celebrate the success of our students and in 2017 we saw more than 234 students presented with certificates on stage!

DAS was honoured to have as our guest of honour, Ms Denise Phua, Mayor of Central Singapore District, Vice Chairman of Jalan Besar Town Council.  Mr Eric Lee, DAS President remarked of Ms Denise Phua,

As Chairperson of the Government Parliamentary Committee for Education and co-founder of Pathlight School, you are very much aware of the challenges faced by children with special needs and their families.  You have been a strong advocate for change in Singapore’s education landscape.  The direction of DAS is very much in line with your efforts

Ms Denise Phua presented students with their graduating certificate and said,

Today is such a special day fo celebration, I would like to once again congratulate all graduates and award winners for achieving this learning milestone.  I truly hope that it will be a starting point for a lifelong journey of courage, excellence and success
