Pushpaa Arumugam joined the Dyslexia Association of Singapore (DAS) in February 2023 as an Educational Therapist. She works with students with dyslexia and other specific learning differences, delivering structured, evidence-based interventions to support literacy development, academic progress, and learner confidence.

She holds a Master of Education (Special Education) and brings a strong foundation in inclusive and holistic education to her practice. Pushpaa believes in focusing on students’ strengths while addressing their learning needs, helping them build resilience and a positive learning mindset.

Since joining DAS, Pushpaa has actively engaged in ongoing professional development and collaborative practices to enhance the quality of intervention provided to her students. She brings a wealth of professional experience by contributing beyond the classroom through her involvement in organisational and community events, reflecting her commitment to DAS’s mission of empowering learners and raising awareness of dyslexia.

Pushpaa is passionate about lifelong learning and, in the longer term, aspires to contribute to the professional development of future Educational Therapists through mentoring and knowledge-sharing.
