Noorsaidah has been with the Dyslexia Association of Singapore since 2015 and currently serves as a Lead Educational Therapist. She provides intervention for learners with dyslexia and other specific learning differences in both the DAS Main Literacy Programme and the DAS Maths Programme. She is also a key member of the Maths Core Team, contributing to curriculum development and providing training and support for the DAS Maths Educational Therapists.
Her extensive experience working with children and youths from diverse backgrounds, including at-risk youth, has strengthened her commitment to helping learners become more self-reliant and resilient. This passion for supporting learners, together with her dedication to fostering independence, continues to guide her professional journey.
She holds a Master of Arts in Special Educational Needs from the University of South Wales. Her research explored how secondary school students with dyslexia approach mathematical problem-solving, focusing on both their thinking processes and the emotional aspects of learning.
Her academic achievements, combined with her hands-on classroom experience, enable her to mentor fellow Educational Therapists and support students with strategies that address their holistic learning needs.
