Noorsaidah has been with the Dyslexia Association of Singapore (DAS) since 2015 and provides intervention for learners with dyslexia and other specific learning differences in both the DAS Main Literacy Programme (MLP) and the DAS Maths programme.
Her more than a decade of experience working with youths and children from various backgrounds has allowed her to develop a better understanding of the learning difficulties faced by students, especially those who come in with challenging behaviours.
Her passion to work with this group of learners, together with her commitment to providing the support and guidance they need to be more self-reliant, has driven her to upgrade herself in this area of interest. She is currently pursuing her Master’s in Special Educational Needs, to better equip herself with the skills and knowledge that would help her bring out the best in her students and guide them in overcoming their challenges, be it learning or behavioural.
