Manmeet Kaur joined DAS in 2013 as an Administration Officer in the Staff Professional Development (SPD) Division and was promoted to Executive in 2015. Throughout her tenure, she has provided comprehensive support for staff training initiatives and worked closely with Educational Advisors to ensure smooth administrative operations. She has also been instrumental in organising the DAS Teaching Teams event since 2014.
In 2015, Manmeet assumed additional portfolios as Administrator for the Register of Educational Therapists Asia (RETA) and Research Coordinator. She has been an active member of the UNITE Conference Committee since 2016, supporting the conference’s administrative functions. Deeply committed to staff development, she takes pride in assisting colleagues to identify meaningful professional development opportunities that enable the delivery of high-quality services to DAS clients.
Her role has since expanded to include administrative support for onsite projects under the English Language & Literacy Division. In addition, she has facilitated the DAS Therapist Award (formerly the MLP EdT of the Year) since 2015.
In recognition of her contributions, Manmeet has received the CEO Commendation Award in 2016, 2017, 2021, and 2023.
