Lynnette is an Educational Therapist and Math Dual Specialist at Sengkang Learning Centre. She joined the Dyslexia Association of Singapore (DAS) in 2015 and has been teaching and working with students with dyslexia and other co-morbidities, such as Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD). She provides intervention for learners with dyslexia and other specific learning differences in the Main Literacy Programme and the Maths programme.
Lynnette has a strong interest in specific learning difficulties such as dyslexia, and dyscalculia and how they impact the learning of Mathematics. She also contributes to the team by developing teaching approaches and accompanying teaching resources and worksheets for the respective primary school levels. Additionally, she helps to conduct profiling tests and assesses new students’ abilities to ensure that they are placed into suitable classes accordingly.
