LIM KIT KWAN

Lim Kit Kwan is an adjunct Educational Psychologist at DAS SpLD Assessment Services. She provides psycho-educational and diagnostic assessments for students with learning difficulties and neurodevelopmental conditions.  With her years of experience as a practising psychologist, Kit Kwan can offer valuable insights into the psychological and educational needs of students, whom DAS strives to support.

Kit Kwan has a strong background in administering assessments, including Autism, Attention-deficit/hyperactivity disorder (ADHD), learning disabilities, intellectual disabilities in children, teens and adults. She is currently in private practice, working with a range of clients, including providing interventions for behavioural and emotional difficulties in children and teens. She has also carried out assessments and interventions with children and youths with special needs at early intervention centres (EIPIC), special education (SPED) schools, as well as a private integrated preschool and an enrichment centre. She believes that building sincere partnerships with parents and teachers are integral to a child’s progress.

Qualifications

• Master of Arts, Applied Psychology (Educational Psychology Specialisation)
• Master of Social Sciences (by research, in Psychology)
• Bachelor of Social Sciences. Honours (Second Class, Upper Division) in Psychology
• Bachelor of Arts with Merit in English Language and Psychology

Certifications or Affiliations:

• Registered Psychologist (Singapore) and SRP Supervisor
• Member of the Singapore Psychological Society
