Jaclyn began her teaching career as a FLAiR (Focused Language Assistance in Reading) Teacher with the Ministry of Education, supporting early literacy development across various preschools. She spent five years working with preschoolers who experienced difficulties in reading, writing, and comprehension.
Guided by her belief that reading is the foundation for lifelong learning, Jaclyn pursued a professional diploma to strengthen her expertise in literacy intervention. She joined the Dyslexia Association of Singapore (DAS) in 2024 as an Educational Therapist. She also provides teaching and classroom support in SEN schools and MOE Kindergartens, and volunteers as an English teacher for migrant workers. Jaclyn is committed to continual professional learning and is always seeking to refine and strengthen her teaching practice.
