Hakimah joined the DAS in 2014. She is currently a Senior Educational Therapist with over a decade of experience delivering targeted literacy intervention under the Main Literacy Programme (MLP). She has worked extensively with students with dyslexia and other specific learning differences, using evidence-based strategies to support their learning needs. On top of teaching, Hakimah serves as an EdTech Facilitator on the DAS EdTech Team. In this role, she works on initiatives that aim to enhance student engagement, promote inclusive learning and empower fellow Educational Therapists with the skills and support needed to use technology meaningfully in their lessons. Hakimah holds a Bachelor of Social Sciences (Hons) from the National University of Singapore. She has also completed her Post-Graduate Certificate in Special Education Needs from the University of South Wales, UK and is an Associate Fellow of the Register of Educational Therapists Asia (RETA).
