Sherilyn joined the Dyslexia Association of Singapore (DAS) in 2025 as a full-time Educational Therapist. As part of the Main Literacy Programme, she works closely with primary and secondary school students with dyslexia and other specific learning differences, supporting them in building strong foundational literacy skills through structured and evidence-based intervention.
She holds a Bachelor of Psychological Science from James Cook University and has completed both the Certificate in Dyslexia Studies and the Certificate in Dyslexia & Essential Literacy Approach with DAS Academy in 2025.
Sherilyn is passionate about creating engaging and supportive learning environments tailored to each student’s unique needs. Since joining DAS, she has been actively involved in planning and delivering differentiated literacy lessons and has shown a keen interest in incorporating multi-sensory strategies into her teaching. She continues to grow in her role through ongoing training, reflective practice, and collaboration with her colleagues.
