What has changed the most for your business this year?

The biggest change has been the significant transfer of activities online. While the Dyslexia Association of Singapore (DAS) is increasingly able to resume face-to-face activities, we now face a difficult decision whether to continue our activities online or return to physical activities as both offer pros and cons. A good example is the annual conference held successfully online in June this year. More established speakers and participants from other countries were able to join local speakers because of the virtual format. However, a virtual conference lacks the interaction and networking opportunities that come with a physical conference. With Covid-19 unabated in many countries, DAS is working towards another virtual conference in June 2021, with the main aim of facilitating greater interaction among conference participants.

Mr Lee Siang
