DAS will offer supplementary classes in the form of Structured Mandatory Make-Up (SMMU) for MLP lessons missed due to gazetted public holidays, DAS closure days, and students with attendance below 75%.
The online MLP SMMU classes will be held on 23 November 2026 (Monday) and/or 24 November 2026 (Tuesday). Your child will be required to attend MLP SMMU if their classes fall on any of the following public holidays in Term 4, 2026, or if their attendance has fallen below 75% between April 2026 and September 2026.
The public holidays in Term 4, 2026 are:
8 November 2026 (Sunday) – Deepavali
9 November 2026 (Monday) – Deepavali PH in-lieu
Please be reminded that the MLP SMMU is a supplementary lesson that DAS is offering to students and the dates are at the convenience of all and are non-negotiable.
If your child is affected, the MLP SMMU Educational Therapists (EdTs) will contact you via email with further details, including session times and online links. Kindly note that the online SMMU class joining links will be sent through your child’s DAS email address. Please note that the EdTs assigned to your child’s SMMU group may NOT be your child’s current MLP EdT, and the student grouping might not be the same as your child’s current class.
