Why do women still lag the men at work today, in position and/or pay? How can organisations do their part to bridge the gender gap, in the digital and other areas?

At the Dyslexia Association of Singapore (DAS), five out of our seven most senior managers are women. Our Educational Technology Team is led by four women who have delivered outstanding results. While our female staff ratio is high with DAS being an educational organisation, it is true and clear that women are the equal of men in their ability and digital prowess. Everyone, regardless of gender, can excel when given the stage to perform. An open awareness and active encouragement of an employee’s strengths and abilities, a recognition of diverse staff needs and a flexible culture have empowered the women of DAS to excel and move our association forward.
