Joanne joined the Dyslexia Association of Singapore in 2004 and has since dedicated her work to supporting preschoolers at risk of learning difficulties. She is a Lead Educational Therapist and holds a Master of Science in Early Childhood Education, along with a Diploma in Dyslexia Studies.
Joanne strongly values the importance of early literacy and believes that early intervention plays a critical role in helping struggling readers succeed. Guided by the belief that it takes a village to educate a child, she extends her work beyond direct intervention with young children by coaching teachers and conducting awareness talks and workshops for parents. Through these efforts, she hopes that more children will benefit and embark on their learning journey with confidence.
