Lianhe Zaobao features DAS Academy scholarship recipient Shen Zhiyi, who was diagnosed with Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD) at 32. After years of self-doubt, her diagnosis helped her better understand and embrace her differences. Now pursuing a Master of Arts in Special Educational Needs and Additional Learning Needs, she hopes to raise awareness of diverse learning needs in early childhood education.
