Peiqi joined the Dyslexia Association of Singapore (DAS) in 2025 and is currently an Educational Therapist. Through the Main Literacy Programme, she provides structured literacy intervention for students with dyslexia and other specific learning differences, helping them develop essential literacy skills and greater confidence in themselves as learners.
Before joining DAS, Peiqi served as an Education Officer with the Ministry of Education, Singapore, where she taught English Language and English Literature at the secondary school level. Her classroom experience deepened her understanding that every student learns differently and that the right support, delivered with patience and empathy, can transform a child’s relationship with learning.
Peiqi holds a Bachelor of Social Sciences in Psychology from the National University of Singapore and a Postgraduate Diploma in Education from the National Institute of Education. She also holds a Certificate in Understanding Dyslexia and a Specialist Diploma in Educational Therapy from DAS Academy. Her background in psychology, classroom teaching and educational therapy enables her to support each student holistically while drawing on structured, evidence-informed approaches to provide meaningful and effective intervention.
Her involvement in youth mentorship and community service has further strengthened her ability to connect with young people from diverse backgrounds and create an environment in which they feel seen, understood and valued. Peiqi believes in looking beyond a student’s difficulties to recognise their strengths and potential. Through purposeful and accessible learning experiences, she hopes to help every student develop the confidence to persevere, the resilience to overcome challenges and the courage to believe in what they can achieve.
